When we were at the Vancouver Art Gallery yesterday, I saw a piece of art that really interested me. I generally like pretty simplistic art with simple colours so I really liked the sculptures by Gathie Falk. They were small balls stacked in a triangle formation, the balls were not perfect circles bu they looked pretty smooth and glassy. There was two stacks, one stack was a deep yellow, perhaps mixed with a bit of brown. The other stack was a dark orange that looked like it had some black mixed in. I have selected this piece because it had caught my eye, it was sort of, different and unique. Most of the other art works were painted on canvas, besides I also think this piece would look rather dashing in my living room.

I would like to change the laws involving small pets. I would change some laws that say one animal is OK, animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits and other small animals prefer having another animal of the same breed to socialize with, can you imagine living your life not having another person to talk to? I would also change the laws of cage sizes and free range spaces. The more pets you own the more space your pets need. I would make the cages at least be a meter in width and two meters in length, these laws would effect our environment by making small animals less hostile or nervous around humans. A lot of humans don't get small animals for these reasons, but if animals that are small had social companions they would not develop social anxiety as easily as than a pet with no companion. This would also give more small animals homes too, no small animal wants to be homeless! So in conclusion there should be new cage requirements and animal social laws.
